How I work, in control
When you hire me, you hire a business, not an extra person for your team. This page shows how I keep my work, my business and my use of AI under control, and what you get to check it. It is written for buyers, procurement and anyone who has to approve a supplier.
Who you contract
• Jock Oosterveer, working as Jockkie Studio. Until October 2026, Jockkie Studio was called AIPION.
• A sole trader (in Dutch: eenmanszaak), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK 96581719. You can look it up in the KVK register.
• Based in Berkel en Rodenrijs, near Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
• Email: info@jockkie.com. I reply within one working day.
How I work as an independent business
• You decide what gets made. I decide how, when and where I make it. The quote describes the result, not working hours or a workplace.
• A fixed price per result, agreed in a quote before work starts. I'm not paid by the hour. Fixing my own mistakes is at my own cost.
• My own tools: my computer, my software and my AI subscriptions.
• My own clients: you find me through this site, my writing or a freelance platform.
• I don't work inside your organisation: no desk, email address or job title at your company, also not on longer projects.
Why this matters to you. Since 1 January 2025, the Dutch tax authority checks again whether a freelancer is really self-employed. If not, the client may have to pay wage tax as if the freelancer were an employee. The control report below gives you the evidence for each project.
Three things I keep in control
For every project I fill in a one-page control report. I fill in the first part when the project starts and the rest when it closes. Every point has evidence: a document with a date. The report covers three areas.
1. Independence
Five checks: you decide the result and I decide how, I use my own tools, the price is fixed per result, you found me through my own channels, and I'm not part of your organisation. A check that doesn't hold stays unticked, with an explanation.
2. Business
• The invoice: its number, and whether it has everything the Dutch tax authority asks for, VAT included.
• The hours I worked, to check that the price per hour stays well above €38. Below that rate, a new Dutch law makes it easier for a freelancer to claim an employment contract. The law is expected to take effect at the end of 2026. Such a claim would be a risk for you as my client.
• That my records are kept for seven years, as Dutch law requires.
3. Data and AI, with a record of which AI made what
• Which AI models were used, with their versions.
• Where your material was stored.
• Whether personal data was involved.
• Whether the work needed a notice that it was made with AI, as EU law asks in some cases, and where that notice was placed.
• Where the "Made with AI" label is.
• How long your material is kept, and when and from where it will be removed.
That record is the production log, also called the audit trail. For every AI generation it records the model, its version, the account it ran in and the date. Failed attempts are logged too.
The report ends with a short statement, signed by me, that the project was done as described.
What you get per project
• An accepted quote before work starts, paid or signed: the result, the fixed price and the number of revision rounds.
• The control report, one page, with the three areas above. You receive it after every project.
• Its attachments, each with a date: the production log, and the QA report, which is my check of the work against your source.
• A supplier file for procurement, on request: my registration details, my policies, and the services that may handle your material.
What is required, and what I add
Required by Dutch law, for every business
To register with the Chamber of Commerce, send invoices with the details the tax authority asks for, handle VAT, and keep its records for seven years.
Required by the EU AI Act, for businesses that use AI
To take measures for the AI knowledge of the people who work with AI on their behalf. I have no staff, so I apply it to myself: I keep a register of the AI models I may use for client work, and a new model only goes on it after I approve it. It also requires me to say clearly when AI-made images, sound or video could be taken for real, and when AI-made text about public affairs was not checked by a person.
Not required, my own choice
The control report, the production log, the four levels for your material, a label on all my AI work, and the one-page agreement for every assistant.
Required only for high-risk AI, from 2 December 2027
Stricter rules for AI such as AI that selects job candidates. My work is not that kind of AI, so these rules don't apply to me. My AI Transparency Statement explains what I already do along the same lines.
Your material and AI
You choose what AI may do with your material. The intake form asks it. There are four levels:
1. Open. Your material may be used with AI services in the cloud.
2. Under NDA. We sign a confidentiality agreement before you send anything. Images and video with your material are only made in FLORA if the NDA allows it.
3. Local. AI only on my own computer: no AI in the cloud, and your files stay in a local folder.
4. No AI. Your material is not processed with AI at all.
Where images and video are made. In the cloud, images and video with your material are made only in my paid FLORA workspace. According to FLORA's own terms, nothing you upload or generate there is used to train AI models, also not by the AI companies FLORA works with. I never put your material directly into the website of an AI model.
Which services. The AI services and other online services that may handle your material are listed in my supplier file.
How long I keep it. I keep your material for 12 months after delivery, so revisions and follow-up orders stay possible, and then remove it. At the intake you can choose a shorter period, including "delete right after delivery". The planned removal date goes into your control report. For personal data, not keeping it longer than needed is required by the EU privacy law (GDPR); for other material it is my own choice.
Labels. AI work is marked as AI work. Every photorealistic person is labelled "Made with AI". I don't show children in client work.
When I set up AI for your team
The same control applies to the AI I set up for teams. I start from the people and their work: what they keep doing, where they decide, and whether they still understand the work. AI prepares and checks; people decide. In the assistants I set up, nothing goes out until a person on your team approves it: I don't give the assistant the tools to send anything on its own.
Every assistant comes with a one-page agreement:
• the work it does;
• what it may never do;
• which language model it uses, and why;
• who may use it;
• who approves its work, and who reads it back;
• how to pause it;
• who manages it.
Your owner signs the page. From then on, the assistant is yours.
Example: a control report for a fictional client
